WiFi Tribe — Travel the World With Your People
For many remote workers, the hardest part of location independence isn't the work — it's the isolation. WiFi Tribe was built to solve exactly that. It's a global community that brings remote professionals together through month-long group trips, blending productive coworking with genuine human connection.
How Chapters Work
The core experience is the "Chapter" — a month spent in a single city with a group of vetted community members. Each Chapter is organized around shared accommodation and reliable internet infrastructure, but the day-to-day experience is shaped by the group itself rather than a fixed itinerary.
Members choose their own chapters based on destination and timing, so over time you might spend a month in Lisbon, another in Buenos Aires, and another in Bali — always with a different mix of fellow members, always in a place set up for productive remote work.
The community spans roughly 700–1,000 members from 62 nationalities, drawn from freelancers, entrepreneurs, startup founders, and remote employees. The application process keeps the culture intentional: WiFi Tribe looks for people who are self-directed, community-minded, and genuinely curious.
What Makes It Different From Coliving
A lot of coliving spaces offer shared desks and maybe a weekly dinner. WiFi Tribe goes much further. Because the same community travels from chapter to chapter, members build real relationships over months and years — the kind that lead to collaborations, referrals, and friendships that last well beyond any single trip.
Activities, outings, and social events are planned collaboratively by whoever's on a given chapter, which keeps things organic and avoids the regimented tour-group feel. You show up to work, explore, and connect — not to follow a schedule.
Who It's Built For
- Remote workers who want to stop traveling alone
- Freelancers and founders looking for like-minded peers on the road
- People early in their nomad journey who want a ready-made community
- Experienced nomads who want depth of connection, not just a desk rental
If you've done the solo nomad thing and found it lonely, or if you're just starting out and want to build your remote lifestyle with support around you, WiFi Tribe fills a gap that standard coliving spaces and coworking memberships don't.
The Application Process
WiFi Tribe is selective. You apply, go through a brief vetting process, and if accepted you can start booking chapters. The curation is part of what makes the community work — every member has gone through the same filter, which sets a baseline of motivation, openness, and professionalism that shapes the culture on every trip.
WiFi Tribe is one of the most established group-travel communities for remote professionals, and for many members it becomes less of a travel product and more of a home base — one that keeps moving.
